Went there after reading the reviews...so impressed!! The food was ready exactly when Peter said, it didn't have all weird connecty bits & tasted great, Peter's service was exemplary (emailing menu immediately, packing the food into a box, complimentary dimmie etc). Everyone at work agreed the food was a perfect lunch! Will definitely be back again.

Who would have thought that a 'takeaway style' place turns out such great food - I consider this one of the better Chinese eateries in Melbourne's bayside and this is from Mordialloc right up to Brighton!!

The food is great and I have never NEVER experienced better service! Friendly, helpful, happy to let me change specifics in a dish and then actually give me the changes I asked for. Exactly the kind of family business I'm happy to support. I highly recommend Louie's kitchen and I'm so glad we found them!

Louie's Kitchen was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. We weren't sure what we wanted to order at first but we were given all the options in a very clear and concise fashion. We were also given the choice of batter or no batter on the Honey Chicken and Sweet & Sour Pork we ordered, which is something I have never experienced from a Chinese takeaway but definitely good for the health conscious! When we arrived in 10 minutes to get our food it was ready for us. Payment was easy, and when we got the food home it was delicious and the portion sizes were very generous. Definitely going back, glad to see a good Chinese takeaway place has found its way to East Bentleigh! 2 thumbs up!

Good menu selection and prices are very reasonable. There is plenty of food in the servings and staff are happy to change things around to suit your requirements and will assist in inventing a dish that you would like to try, nothing is too much trouble, just ask and they will assist. Without a doubt a favourite of the family.

Approximate cost: $14.00

Main meals lack full bodied flavor, need a variety of vegetables, batter can be too thick at times. Chicken thigh meat instead of breast meat would enhance flavor. I will always come back because everything is fresh and is value for money. Just watch the flavor content.

Approximate cost: $12.00
