A great little cafe situated in a little country town offering some deliicious woodfire pizzas, breakfast and lunch. We have found on two occasions that service was a bit slow and they did forget part of our order, but fortunately we were in no hurry and didn't mind the wait. All our meals were very tasty and we loved the breakfast we had a few months ago. Although service was a bit slow, we were served with a friendly smile. Very pleasant atmosphere and will be returning for the pizza.

Cute little country setting with great outside seating in a courtyard out the back. Excellent wood oven pizzas and the thai pad thai and choo chee chicken were excellent (Thai is on the menu on the last weekend of the month, from memory). HOWEVER, service is incredibly slow - not good when you have a gaggle of children with you. Wait staff are very apologetic and friendly but it doesn't help much when kids are growling for food after 45 minutes. A small table that ordered after our group of 16 was served before us. Understandable, I guess, but in that course they should have served kids their meals separately and first so that they could play afterwards and we could enjoy ours when they got around to serving it. I think $15 corkage at a country pizza place is a bit steep too. Could also look to investigate a better exhaust system as we absolutely reeked of the oven fumes when we left. Update on the donkey situation too - he has gone to the big farm in the sky.

Lovely gourmet food, great menu selection. They have a pet donkey next door and will give the kids a carrot to feed her, child friendly with coloring-in books etc.

Approximate cost: $50

Small older country place with it's own style. You can eat outside out the back which is lovely on a nice day. The menu has a very good choice and the food is lovely. If you go with a big group of people though some will be nearly finished their meal when the last ones are getting their meal. Well that happened to us. Not sure if it is always like that. Great outside if you have children so they can move around and look at a donkey. Great for a gathering of friends with children.
