One of the worst Chinese restaurants I've ever been to. My aunt booked a table for a family gathering on Sunday at lunchtime. We waited for a long time to put in our orders. The [redacted personal identifier] guy who put in our order was extremely rude. He insisted us on ordering more food and told us to expect to wait a long time if we don't put in the order at once. He also kept questioning the food we ordered saying it's not enough for everyone on the table and kept on suggesting some very expensive dishes. The food was average and presentation was below average.
On top of that, there was a cockroach running around on the wall when we were in the middle of our meal! I notified the staff but they were too busy to care. My dad had to kill it in the end.
What a nightmare... I will never come back ever again.
Have been there before & have always been satisfied. Late reservations - no problem, & that was the case again last saturday. Rang to book on Fri night & got in.
I must say that service is always good here - plenty of waiters around asking if you need anything.
Ordered spring rolls & Xiao long boa for entree, salt & pepper prawns, garlic beef, stir fried gai lum and some fried rice.
Spring rolls ok. Xiao long bao weren't steamed properly and were still frozen in the middle - had to send back. Prawns were plump, juicy and delicious. I thought the beef was ok - wife didn't, and the veggie had a little too much sugar.
They brought out the fruit platter (orange & watermelon) however my second bit of orange was soft, dark and rotten.
Unfortunately we won't be going back for a while. Its a pity as this place was really handy for us. Eastwood or Chatswood has better options.
Approximate cost: $18 - 24
Located in an area with a variety of country choices, this Chinese seafood restaurant is our preferred choice where they always make you feel welcome.
Lots of Chinese basics, including the chilli crab, muscles, pippies and don;t forget the duck, we have found Lee Central offers great meal at a great price. Again, we usually order too much & take home the leftovers for a meal the next day. I think the only problem is that they don't do yum cha.
Approximate cost: $18 - 28
The food is very good here, particularly seafood dishes. Went there with a friend and her father for dinner, and the service was satisfactory, however they are quite expensive.
Went here for lunch just on saturday. We ordered plenty of seafood for a party of 12- it was $240. Pretty good considering we ate crab in porridge, pipis, 2 scallop dishes each and prawns in noodles.
That's good
I like coming here for dinner because they have a variety of Asian dishes at comparatively low prices. I'm always satisfied with what I've eaten whenever I come here.
I always enjoy eating here too.
Great place for Malaysian food although not all are 100% original malaysian food.
Hainanese chicken is good along with other dishes. Seafood are quite expensive but expected. The pre-set meals (banquets) are quite worth the price.
True to the point
Good seafood restaurant if you like seafood but they have other specialty dishes as well. Quite expensive for fresh seafood but can be expected. Other dishes are reasonably priced.
Amazing chinese food at jaw dropping (in a good way) prices! At lunch a large serving of food for example fried sticky rice is just over $10! The place is very popular among Asian families and can cater for a large group of people. The service is quite friendly and the food is great! Highly recommended for an amazing, cheap eat.
Sounds good! Can't wait to check it out!
