I did a learn to swim class (6 sessions) through
Adult Education, and I was immensely impressed with the quality of the teaching, and the professionalism and patience of the instructor. He has been teaching swimming for many years, and has a wealth of experience to share. He was exceptional in his knowledge, and the way he tailored the classes to suit different levels of ability. I'm a real beginner, but there was a lady who wanted to improve her technique in a couple of different strokes. Everybody was pushed to their ability level, and we all made great improvement. I would recommend the Launceston Swim School to anyone who wants extra tuition, from beginners to those who want to improve their technique. Fantastic value for great tuition!

Great for little tots as they have heated indoor pool and change room facilities. They run a family swim session weekly and at times you can hire the function room and pool for parties- you must provide your own catering. The facilities are kept clean and tidy but it does get hot inside

A great quiet little swim school, sadly not with enough parking spots which makes for fun in winter with wet hair- but that aside the instructors are lovely and helpful, the pool is clean and warm

A quiet small swim school that is always kept extremely warm, the pool is small but not over crowded with class sizes. The teachers are lovely and don't push the children too hard but do push enough to see development.

Our family have been using the swim school for over 10 years now, we have been very fortunate to have excellent instructors that ensure all activities are age and level appropriate.
Birthday parties have always been a bit hit here with the blow up pool activities.

i took my daughter here for a couple of lessons but found the instructor to be a little impatient with my daughter so we pulled her out after the second lesson. My daughter was petrified of going into the pool so that probably didnt help the situation but i thought the instructor could have been a little more patient with her and used more coaxing to get her to go into the pool especially as i was paying $13 a lesson. although i found the instructor to be impatient i found all the other staff really nice and very talkative. The pool itself is a decent size and heated all year round.
