This restaurant is always excellent. The lunch special( 3 courses for $60) is great value with excellent choices. Their seafood platter is outstanding too. The service is faultless. I’ve been there many times and our table has always been happy. There is also an extensive drink menu. It’s a place where you can relax and enjoy a great meal with friends family or even by yourself. I love the Lagoon.

The non-seafood dishes were very expensive and bland, the service was rushed as they were busy and tried to rush us to hurry up. Normally very happy with service but not on Valentine's Day.

My husband and kids toke me here for my Birthday dinner, I love seafood and have always wanted to go here.

The food and seafood is fresh, the service was really friendly and welcoming, the view from our table was amazing and you could hear the waves splashing.

I had the salmon dish and it was devine!

A great restaurant to visit if your in the area, next time I will make sure to order the seafood platter.

I am not much of a seafood eater so going here was more for the benefit of my family. I do however eat Calamari, and loved the calamari here as it was not tough or chewy and drenched in a ton of batter, it was just perfect. The accompanying sauce was a flavor to savor and my taste buds were tantalized. The rest of the family had varying dishes like Barramundi, tempura prawns and salmon. They all enjoyed their meals too.
The view here is quite nice if you have a window seat, the waiters are good at providing service but thats it, the prices are a bit steep so it is not some where i would go all the time but would be open to going here again.

We reached the restaurant just before 2 pm and all of us were already starving. We had made the booking beforehand so we got a table next to the window which had a great view. We ordered Salt & Pepper calamari, BBQ Seafood Platter and Hot & Cold Seafood Platter. So we had Lobster mornay, Moreton Bay bugs, BBQ king prawns, Kilpatrick & mornay oysters, scallops in the shell, BBQ octopus, salt & pepper calamari, barramundi pieces, tempura prawns, blue swimmer crab, natural oysters, fresh prawns & smoked salmon which were just delicious. The portions were huge and we all were full but we still wanted some dessert. We decided to share and ordered a Cheesecake and a passionfruit coconut cake. They were delicious as well and we were glad we did order them.

Wonderful food. Very delicious. Service is pretty good. They do go the extra mile. I had the balmain bugs the other day, and apart from the fact the price had gone up, the amount of bugs on the plate had gone down. For $59 and just getting 2 balmain bugs and some rice. It's getting a bit ridiculous. Great lychee cocktails though. And one of the best places for chips in Wollongong

We love this restaurant! We cant afford to go very often as the prices are quite steep but the seafood is so fresh, the service is excellent, the view over the lagoon is spectacular and the dishes are just amazing! I always have the seafood platter which is just loaded with fresh and hot seafoods. Its around 150 dollars but worth every cent if you want to spoil yourself! The mains start from 35 dollars so as I said it isnt cheap but the atmosphere is lovely and we have never ever had a bad experience there. I wish I could eat there every day! The staff are attentive but dont rush you. Between courses you can have a seat outside and just soak in the view. It really is a great experience. (especially if you are on a date!)

The food and service at the Lagoon restaurant is always exceptional. My family and I always have a great time and have shared many special occasions there. The menu is rather extensive from seafood, beef, veal and chicken. Even the fussiest eater can find something on the menu which they will enjoy. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to all of my family and friends.

This place is always great if you love seafood and just want somewhere to take someone special for lunch or dinner. The seafood is always fresh and pretty well priced. I took my wife here for our last anniversary and we had the hot and cold seafood platter for 2. Didn't really get close to finishing it off. It was huge! It is also set in a great location close to the beach. Gorgeous view!

Amazing seafood restaurant, I really look forward and enjoying coming here. I have been here for functions and regular dining, and the food quality has been divine in both circumstances. The staff are efficient, friendly and really on the ball. This is a really classy restaurant and I would recommend it to anyone. I am a fussy eater, and they always try and accommodate me. Nice spot near the park and the water.
