Laced is such a fun place to visit for my cup of java. The staff are all extremely friendly (there are 4 of them crammed into a tiny tiny space) and they converse, have a laugh and a chat as well as make a great cup of coffee. The owner (Scott?) also makes a 'muffin of the day' - you can suggest muffins on his 'muffin wall' and you might be lucky and he will make it. I love going there of a morning :-)

I can't believe I'm only just discovering this place! From the outside, it looks like a little narrow hole in the wall coffee place. But if you walk inside, there is a set of stairs leading upstairs to a nice spacious seating area.

The coffee blend is great and the prices are a welcome relief from some of the stores that overcharge immensely. Loyalty cards give you every 6th coffee free instead of the usual 11th, so that is also a plus.

My only complaint is that we had our coffees there, and they forgot one of the orders and needed to be reminded - by which time the rest of the team had nearly finished theirs. Small complaint as they were very busy at the time, so I won't let it stop me visiting again!

I am a big coffee lover. If you stuff up my order once, I will never forget or forgive. I SHALL NEVER RETURN.

They guys at Laced are fantastic - Brent pretty much remembered my order after the second visit! Their coffee blend is just perfect - strong yet still smooth.

Price wise - they are spot on.
