A few friends decided to go out for tea on a friday night and we decided upon La Porchetta as we had not been here since it re-opened.....
We arrived on time as booked and the staff seamed OK.We were served quickly and our starters order was taken. We made the usual small talk and had a couple of drinks and realised that our starters had taken over 45minutes. Not a good start especially when people who arrived after us had theres. There was then another 4-5 -60 minutes untill most of the main meals arrived ( place was only 1/3 to 1/2 full at the most) three of the six arrived were only just warm. My partners seafood pizza still had not arrived after every other dish was nearly finished, a staff member apologised afetr speaking to her, she came back to advise they had ran out of the seafood topping !!!!!!!! when the "substitute" one arrived is was covered with very salty anchovies - not very nice at all. yes we did get two free dishs but after this debacle there is no way we will return there. I would feel sorry for any one going there if they were ever busy with a full service, very very dissapointing night.

This dining experience was pretty good. The pizzas were delicious and everything we ordered was the same as what was served up to us! Although they were good pizzas, they were a little pricey but they managed to feed my entire family just the same :)

Approximate cost: $21

The food was delicious when I went although the service was average it was quite slow for the food to come out and it felt like we were waiting for ages. But the food was really nice

My sister and I thought we would check out La Porchetta's now that it's reopened. The food is cheap and decent (not great but not bad). Service isn't the best, it's slow and not as friendly as expected. But I was surprised to find they make the best chocolate milkshake I've ever tasted - may actually go back just for that.

The store is back open and we would never go there again, the food is horrible and the shanks were very tough.

We didn't like this place at all. It was noisy - the food was greasy and left you feeling bloated. Won't be going back.

I thought this closed down months ago.

I didn't know that but I am glad. It is a while since we went there.

the quality and service is good and the meal size are so big, its value for money for sure,i like their pizza the best, other meals can be too faty, their steak so big, almost can fee three adults, the steak is not that good, but for the money you pay, it is good value, good family restaurant, great place to go if you have a very large family.

I usually order the risotto but have also had the greek salad and pizza as well. It's not very family friendly in the sense that I found it difficult manouevring with a pram as the tables are fairly close together and the seating near the pizza ovens can become a bit humid due to the heat. The biggest issue I have is that the food (not talking salad here) is extremely oily and can leave a bit of a sick feeling in your stomach if you're not used to it. The salad I have had was great. The service is standard, nothing outstanding but it's a reasonably cheap meal experience.

We really enjoy La Porchetta. Their Italian food is delicious and their prices are not expensive. They have a wide range of pizza with many good flavours and their pasta is good also.
