Really happy with the manicure/pedicure and waxing i had done here. The prices are reasonable, the girls are friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is nice as its not on a main road.

i bought a voucher off scoopon to get a mani/pedi. i booked during the week and mixed up the time for my appointment, realizing that my appointment was now! i called and told them about the mix up, and they still said it was ok to come in 30 mins late. eventhough they had later appointments, i never felt rushed. the spa pedicure was awesome! the chair has really strong massagers, she did a great job on my toes, and you get a leg massage/scrub too! importantly of all, she did a fantastic job on my nails! i hate getting manicures because they never shape my nails the way i want them too. (i never got the woman's name), but she paid close attention to detail in my manicure, and overall my nails look amazing! my friends even complimented me later on the great job! i'll definitely be coming back here! the service was very friendly and great! and the shop is conveniently close to prahran market, shops, and restaurants without being a gawking spot on the main commercial road. thanks so much ladies!!! :)

I booked deluxe manicures and pedicures for myself and two friends at La Chiq and the girls were great. They were friendly, professional and attentive, and the service was exceptional. I would gladly recommend La Chiq to friends and family and look forward to my next appointment with them.

went to this place with a coupon voucher and was a bit disappointed. the manicure and pedicure was rushed and not done well. Service leaves a lot to be desired and found the staff a bit rude and intrusive with questions. If you guys want to do better in your business think about greeting customers with warmth and a smile, not drilling with questions, offering customers water, tea or coffee and changing the radio station music to more relaxing music. It might make a difference to your bottom line. Sorry wont be back.

I also had a voucher for a mani pedi here and had a great experience. I get my nails done weekly and it was such a treat to go to a salon that was a lot nicer and more stylish than my usual more 'budget' salon. They were very helpful choosing colours and showing me new polishes - they had a really great range of OPI. They suggested a colour and I have had quite a few compliments since. This definitely felt more special and I felt a bit more pampered than my usual routine. The usual price would be a bit more expensive but really nice treat every so often.

Really dissapointed in the service. Found this salon through the jump on it deals. Deal was so popular they didnt have time to fit in my pedicure which was included in the deal. They included a "free soak off" at least but turned out the Gelac came off after 5 days anyway. Definately wouldn't reccomend this salon.

Definitely do not recommend this place. Was told I was 12 mins late for my appt so have to rush my Mani n padi. Shouldn't they be prepared for heaps of bookings if they are part of the deals promotions? Staffs are rude and vulgar.

I was referred to La Chiq by a good friend and they have proven to be 5 star quality for a very affordable price - I'm very impressed girls! I had my eyebrows tinted and waxed/shaped and then for the fun of it, a Deluxe Pedicure (I never get Manis and Pedis). Ladies - I would highly recommend La Chiq for fantastic and very PRECISE eyebrow shaping! I've been to over 9 different salons and Eyebrow shaping bars (Sharon Lee, Hollywood Eyebrows, Benefit Brow bar in David Jones you name it) and have found them to be overpriced, inconsistent, poorly trained and use waxes that leave my eyebrows red, puffy and itchy. La Chiq accurately shaped my eyebrows to my specific request, introduced and walked me through the tinting process and I have to say, they turned out great - not red or itchy afterwards!! And I'm blown away at the price (since I used to pay up to $90 for eyebrow shaping alone... tax deductable). Definitely found a repeat customer in me - and I've told all my girlfriends. I've never given a review before but felt the need to spread the word.
