headed all the way here for fresh brioche...only to discover that they make them once a week and freeze them! I could have saved myself the travel time as the broiche I went back to pick up were awful..

Approximate cost: $25

This shop is wonderful for purchasing a cake to bring along to a special dinner party. Well-known around the area as a fantastic French pattisserie. Beautiful rich chocolate mud cakes; delicious vanilla slices, lovely quiches, and the petit fours are always a treat...

I fortunately don't live near these guys or I'd bee the size of a house. I always stop if they're open as it is. Their cakes and pastries are exquisite. I'm salivating at the remembrance of the last morsel I bought from them. Yummo. They use real ingredients, none of this pretend butter and cream. You can really taste it. My favourites are the tiny petit fours which go down a treat at a dinner party.

This shop offers a wide variety of savoury and sweet treats. It's so hard to choose since everything looks and smells so great! You can place orders for birthday cakes, school orders, etc. Everything is baked according to the French style. For a special treat, try their savoury pies.
