Our second time to Kobe Jones Melbourne and first time at their new premises. Food was great, seafood was fresh. Great ambience and excellent service. A bit expensive but worth it using Entertainment card or Spreets voucher.

This was the third time I had been and the first time to their new premises located at North warf. The premises is not as good as their previous. It is split into two sections one for dinning and another for Teppanyaki. Gone is the lush interior to be replaced with a more bistro feel - and it was cold! The size of the meals seems to have decreased, but not the prices. I had a horrible warm cocktail. The food was very nice and with the entertainment card the value was fine. probably would only go there for a quick meal, rather than a full dinning experience as the atmosphere didn't encourage me to share a bottle of wine.

I am actually quite surprised to be the first to review this place, must be a hidden secret. Kobe Jones offers a modern twist on Japanese cuisine. I experience a 10 course degustation meal in which i got to try a selection of different items on the menu to share with a partner. At first i thought with the servings being given that i would never be full, but 10 courses is alot, and by the end not only was i full i was satisfied with the quality of the food. The restaurant also sits on a great location with a spectacular waterfront view.
