My car was in Chirnside brand Kmart tyre & Auto, they did a full srvice and did not put oil in after oil change, if i had not have realized by checking oil a few days after, my engine would have blown costing 15k to replace. DO NOT TRUST THEM

Advice not to deal with mycar Auto and Tyre services most their staff apprentices they will increase your bill by wrong diagnosis they will keep replacing the working parts instead of finding the faulty parts.

The worst mechanic we've ever had. Try to avoid them as possible as you can.

We brought our car in West Perth Branch last December for engine problem. Now it's April. We've been bringing the car back for 4 times, and the engine light is still on. They have charged us more than 3 grand.

We have been dealing with all the frustration and all the inconvenience with no wheels, and they still can't fix the car. They've been telling us it's the injectors, the sensor, the programming problem, blah blah blah.

We feel like they're fooling us around, keeping charging us for this and that, but they don't know what exactly the problem is.

After spending more than 3 grand, the car still broke down on the street. We had to wait for help on street feeling cold, starving and extremely frustrated. Therefore, we're going to seek help and third party opinions from other mechanics, Bureau of Automotive Repair and possibly Consumer Court.

We've been going here for years. Most of the staff is very friendly. The prices are competitive, and generally we've been happy with the quality of the service. On 2 occasions, our car had issues after having a regular service that weren't present before dropping the car off, but I cannot be 100% sure it was the fault of Kmart Tyre and auto. But we've been going since 2008 and only ever had 2 issues, and they could just be coincidence. Generally happy with service, they are usually spot on with the time quote. They've never done anything "extra" without first getting permission from me. The location is convenient to us. And the prices are competitive. We'll continue to go back.

Went here last weekend to get my car serviced. Friendly and courteous staff. David...I think he is the manager..was very knowledgeable and patient!!

Good service, nice people. Got what I was looking for at a good price for product. Would go back again.

Booked my car in for a wheel alignment - they were very quick ....but I did not appreciate the lies.

They attempted to tell my my battery was failing ( which I thought strange as it was pretty much new - and quoted me a replacement battery costing three times what my wheel alignment had cost me - Immediately on collection I took it to my own mechanic who worked 300 metres down the road and asked him to test my battery - I had purchased from him only 8 months earlier!!! he did so with two different machines whilst it was running and whilst it was not - it had FULL capacity reading on both machines - there was absolutely nothing wrong with it !!!! Saved myself an additional $147 I did not need to spend - Unfortunately I would not recommend this place ....if there is one thing I hate more than bad customer service - it having businesses flat out lie to me and try to get me to buy things I DO NOT require AT ALL

I didn't expect very much from here as others had said that it was too expensive and they weren't very friendly. Maybe i just got them on a good day because the price was around the same as everywhere else i'd checked, I found them pleasent and overall the experience was as good as getting a car serviced can get.

Simply put, probably one of the most disappointing experiences I've had in regards to getting my car serviced. I had previously been a regular customer at Kmart Auto at Altona Gate Shopping Centre and thought the provided OK service. Since I moved to Werribee, I wanted to continue using Kmart's service. I just came back from overseas and forgot how much a major service cost here in Melbourne. I was lazy to compare different places as well. The guy at the reception quoted something like $650 for a major service. I quickly just agreed and left my car. Only after I left my car that I relised I was being ripped off. It would've been okay if it was just the price but the job done wasn't really up to the standards. My car started making noises towards the front and when I took it back to them, they didn't do much about it and sent me home. I later found out that it was the aircon belt which was worn which made noises. But anway, I've never been back there since and wouldn't recommend the place to anyone.
