Helpful, polite service, and a great location. Easy to park as it is in the carpark of the shopping centre. All I needed were headlight and backlight globes and they were quick and reliable. Thank you my car Airport West.

I also recently needed new tyres so I chose kmart auto and services for my car. The man that served me was pleasant and helpful. Answered all the questions that I had. He also said it would take about an hour and a half as the service area on this particular day was choc a block full, So whilst I waited I went to the shopping centre. sure enough an hour and a half later on my car had 4 new tyres and a wheel alignment. Didn't cost me an arm and a leg either. Very pleasant and easy to deal with. Would definitely recommend them to anyone in the northern suburbs of Melbourne who needs tyres for their car. Also it is highly recommended that you book your car in and don't just try to walk in off the street. Staff are nice and friendly and helpful. On a recent visit, I needed new tyres. Upon arrival, I waited at least 10 minutes before being served. When the guy finally did come to the counter, his customer service skills need to be improved. I asked simple questions basically how much for certain tyres etc.. he obviously didn't understand the question. I got interrogated with questions that were not relevant. I am not surprised why he wasn't concerned...he didn't care... I felt frustrated, and quite peeved at this experience. If sales are his number one focus and he is unable to use his customer service skills in the front counter role, feeling the customers needs and asking questions back relevant to the situation, then he shouldn't be on front counter. Upon leaving he said "have a great day now .. come again "!! with a condescending attitude .... hmmm I held my breath and walked away .. Since this I have sourced other other tyre fitters and I have found the the best one out. With this experience Kmart Tyre and auto need to look at who they have on front counter because first impressions, especially on front counter leave a lasting impression.

If you have a new car & want to maintain your log-book at a more decent price than the dealerships, I recommend these guys. A minor logbook service is approx $250 as opposed to $390 from the dealership. Furthermore, tyres, wheel alignments & so forth are quite cheap.

I have found that KATS provide a good service at a good price, their reports are detailed and they well first call you before performing any other works, no surprises
