On Saturday 7th October, I was in the sports bar which is the norm for myself. I very rarely dine here, but just wanted to say that the service given by Sarah was among the best I have had the privilege to witness. Sarah was under the pump in the time I was there and she handled it in a way that was fantastic.

A big shout out to Sarah.

The loaded fries where like an awkward first date, there where fries, jalapeños, chipotle and sour cream and beef strips. Unfortunately they didn’t go together and they just felt awkward eating them. Could definitely be some improvement.

The salt and pepper calamari was over cooked with only a couple of decently cooked pieces.

Cost to value for food just isn’t there.
Drinks are cheap though, like this review.

Food is great for a pub feed. We tried this place with some friends as a quick lunch option and we were impressed not only with the food but service. The place is clean and inviting aswell. Gets quite busy and can be sometime roudy in the bar area but other then that quite a nice place.

The kirwan tavern is a great choice to watch sport and always has all the UFC fights televised. It also has a pokies room and pub tab. The restaurant serves decent pub grub and cold beer

Went here for a quick lunch and was quite impressed with the place, the meals were nice and it was very clean. the bar staff were nice and helpful and the set up was great, we were able to eat in the main bar area while playing a game of pool. they also have a nice range of poke machines.

Can't really complain about this pub, it's in the suburbs and offers a decent menu with reasonably priced drinks. They also have UFC most weekends which is good.

The Kirwan Tavern is well patronized by a lot of locals who find it as a happy place to relax after work On the occasions I have visited the Tavern over the years there always seems to be a good mix of patrons between the blue collar working man and families whom are coming in to have a reasonably priced pub meal. There are a number of parts to the Kirwan Tavern including a TAB, poker machine room, restaurant, public bar and drive through bottle shop. The meals are in good sized proportions with my favourite pick for the Kirwan Tavern being their chicken. Their chef always seems to get it cooked just right, not to dry but still properly cooked all the way through. The staff are always pleasant though sometimes service can be a little slow when the place starts to get busy.

The Kirwan Tavern is a decent suburban pub, it doesn't do anything special but has a good pub grub menu, TAB and regularly has the UFC on the big screen. They have been outdone a bit by the Avenues tavern and the fact you can't drink in the TAB but it's one of the best pubs for UFC events

Found the price of food to be a little high for a tavern meal - however in saying that the food was great and a decent serving size.. We were seated straight away and never have any problems getting seated

great customer service, we got seated right away and they stayed on top of everything all night. the food was a good size for the price. very happy
