So surf clubs have several features.

1. They have great views of the ocean
2. They have quality pub style fair (the price keeps going up, along with the quality, but it is still pub food).
3. There are lots of them.

Kirra Surf Live Saving is typical of the clubs in this area. Look on the menu for items that are not battered or fried, for something that is worth the price.

But I would say, that of the surf clubs in the area, Kirra is not that good a choose. My favourite is style Rainbow Bay.

A good spot overlooking the beach. Prices quite reasonable, especially the $10 menu! Drink prices also quite good. Was easy to get a seat right at the window.

Approximate cost: $10

The food there is great. Spent $45 to fed the family of 4, yes, a little bit expensive but it is all worth it.
Can't forget the sign I saw inside the premises while waiting for our food, it says: "Great food takes time."

That was a nice food experience and I kept telling my friends about it. Thank you for the good customer service.

Approximate cost: $45.00

This place has a wonderful view out to the ocean. The place itself is quite run down but it has a nice relaxed feel.

looking for a place for 2 families for dinner. Nice venue with view over ocean. Oysters fresh. Pasta disappointing . bread good for starter =recommend. Fish and chips average. Priced more than comparable gold coast clubs.

Approximate cost: $27

We had breakfast here last weekend and it was very disappointing. We ordered the big breakfast for $20 and got overcooked eggs - burnt on the bottom and bacon that was way too crispy. Coffee was lukewarm at best. Sorry guys, just not up to scratch and the place wasn't even busy! We've had dinner here and it's always been nice.

Approximate cost: $15 - 20
