Had very bad experience not once but two times with Kingsway Optical. First time the glasses were not prepared properly. After asking to fix them it is again the same. I thought that there was something wrong. I could not use the glasses. It was a waste of time and could not get proper glasses. Following year I went back hoping that they would do a good job at least this time and take some care as I got a bad deal earlier. But again it is the same experience. The optometrist is prescribing properly but when the glasses are prepared there is something wrong. I got the optometrists prescription checked and it was correct. Problem is with the preparation of glasses. I informed that the glasses were not good and I could not see properly with one of the eyes. They tried to fix it but it is the same. Either it was not fixed or it is done in such a manner that it was totally wrong.
It was frustrating to have this kind of experience not once but twice. In my view this is optical service is not a good one at all.

My family have been getting glasses & contact lenses from here for about 10 years. Nice husband and wife team who are always obliging with great advice on what looks good. There's never any pressure and they can always get a frame in that you've seen elsewhere. I realise there are places around with super deals and have looked into them but we keep going back to Diane & John because the service is the best.

Went in for a pair of glasses for my son who had broken his. He could not decide on which pair he liked and finally picked a pair. He found a pair in a catalogue that he liked. They offered to bring it in for him to have a look - no obligation to buy. Also did a thorough eye check unllike some optometrists who seem more interested in selling glasses than testing eyes. Highly recommended.
