I would not recommend Kingsley Tavern. A group of 8 friends had lunch there today. Two of us had the crumbed calamari with chips and salad. The calamari which was overcooked, tough and the combination of crumbs and panko covering the calamari was over done. The chips were definitely overcooked. We complained and there was little sympathy or concern that 2 plates were returned hardly eaten. We will not be returning to this venue for poor inedible food and lack of concern that they served inedible food.

Have been here for lunch and dinner here quite a few times. Although they don't take orders at the tables, (due to sharing the building with the bar) the turnaround time on orders is very good. Meals are generous, great taste, presented well, and at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended for a easy informal dining experience.

Approximate cost: $25

Tasty dinner but menu/specials never seem to change ?
Big serves and ok priced. Drinks reasonably priced and service a little hit and miss but mostly friendly.

Approximate cost: $25

Great simple pub food with good old fashion service, I feel like this place has picked up its game. This place had been stale for some time but has turned for the better.

Approximate cost: $25

We are regulars at the Kingsley Tavern for a good local meal. Recently they started serving Sunday Breakfast which my husband and I tried, and as with the evening meals, the serves are very generous, well prepared and you don't have to wait long for your food. Good inexpensive value for money meals. Staff friendly and accomodating.

My first experience at the Kingsley wasn't fabulous as we had to wait forever for our food - BUT I have been 3 times since - the staff have been prompt and friendly, the meals have been nice and come out fairly quickly.
I DO like the idea of paying up front for a meal and purchasing drinks at the bar. It makes it a lot easier when dining with a large group and not worrying about dividing up the bill. Call me a scrooge, but in these times, I cant afford to pay for someone else's expensive Beef or alcohol choices :) So I am all for prepay!!

I visited the Kingsley tavern with my boyfriend and his family and considering how full the place was, and how many people we had on our table, i thought we got our meals in a reasonable amount of time. very nice food.

Reasonable pub, can look a bit rough sometimes but good pub food, good pricing and big meals. Plenty to choose from, good kids menu.
