Usually we've found the fish and chips and the service to be excellent.
I was however a bit surprised the other day when I ordered fried Perch and chips, and was given grilled fish and chips. I was more surprised when I pointed out that the fish was wtong and the bloke serving responded with a smile and, "Well, not much I can do about that is there". I said "well, yes, you could give me what I ordered", to which he answered "sure, if you want to wait another 15 minutes"
Not sure where the error occured. The bloke who took the order was a bit dithery, so he might have written the order down wrong, or maybe the cook misread the order.....anyway, it was, from a customers point of view pretty poor service.

We sometimes went there for dinner on the weekend. It is a nice place to eat. Food and service is good, though the price seems to be a bit higher if compared with some other chinese restaurants in Hurstville.

Get takeaway here every few weeks - very popular and always busy place, good range of fried, grilled seafood, BBQ octopus seems to be a specialty but never tried it, as well as some other takeaway options (burgers). Nice salads too. I go for one of their mixed packs with salad - fried fish, calamari, prawn cutlets etc always crisp, light batter, not oily.
