The food here is really good. I'd say there are lot of things you can get!! The employees are also super friendly too.
I always have the hainanese chicken rice here - so tasty! Lunch time prices are good, and the manager is super friendly.
Approximate cost: $15
Discovered this place while driving along Heatherton Road one evening and decided to turn in for dinner. Lots of ample parking spaces behind the Aldi's. We found the decor very nice , comfortable and simple. The wait staffs were very attentive and provided good service. Soon we had our Chinese dishes out and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Fish was from the live aquarium which we ordered..This place can give the other good reviewed restaurants in Springvale! Prices are reasonable and they don't charge corkage for BYO . Will definitely be back to try the other dishes again! They even have daily lunch specials at $9.90 including freshly made Chinese tea unlike the pre-made ones in steel tumblers in some restaurants.
It is good here. They have changed owners so there has been changes. there are friendly staff. It has a liquor licence so it's good to be able to have a drink with your meals. It has special offers for seniors at lunch. It also has an outdoor area which is good if you wanted to have a get together or a function. Food is very tasty and the owners are always happy to help.
Approximate cost: $10
Although we were greeted with great service, when the food (finally) came, it was bland and horrid.
The place needs some fixing up and (sorry) besides the catchy name and friendly staff, didn't seem to have much going for it.
Have been frequenting this joint with my colleagues for Monday lunches. Used to enjoy the Hainanese Chicken Rice here but not anymore. On our last visit, the soup was served cold, the rice tasted bland and the steamed chicken seemed to be have been kept overnight and not properly reheated. Never again!!!
Approximate cost: $8.50
They have very yummy food and terrific service. And they are so well prepared, that if you have children, not only do they have high chairs that aren't broken like most other places, but they also have a toy bag for the kids to play with during your time there.
We used to go to Khe Sanh very regularly and got tired of the same old thing. We heard that it was being renovated and decided to give it another go after not going for about 18 months, wow, the renovations are amazing and we were told big plans for the outside area. The menu was extensive, ranging from the good old chinese to very different asian food, which included crocodile, vension and amazing seafood. The service was immaculate and the food was hot and fresh, the waiters checked if we were ready before each course was brought out. The cost varied depending on what food you chose, from $18 for a main to $50. The crockery used was new and trendy, the food was presented beautifully, even the chopsticks were renewed for each course. A fantastic experience and we will be back very soon and take some friends with us. Not the type of restaurant that you would expect to find in Springvale, very trendy.
Fantastic Food and Service, they even offer group tours overseas, and hold trivia nights etc, very involved in the community. The Spicy Calamari is the best i have had.
Approximate cost: $18.00
The service was a little slow during our visit. This was a bit strange as we were the only customers in the restaurant! The waiters also had trouble understanding English and got our orders confused The food however was pretty good and reasonably priced!
