They've gone and closed the 'little shop' which had the burgers and all that, and they're working to reopen it. So we went to the main event and while it's pricey, it's definitely worth it. You can see the chefs actually fanning the flames to get that smokey charcoal flavour. You can taste the efforts that's put into making the food. And they have a good wine list.
Not only did I have a good wine, but the maitre'd's knowledge of the drop was phemonenal.

Actually, this one's now the 'smaller' brother of the main establishment. This one does lunch burger specials for $10 and they are really really good. Think beef and pork patty with a nice slice of melted cheese roasted over authentic Serbian charcoal.
Don't ask me what's so authentic about charcoal or how it's different, but it says it on the menu.

Peel street is really becoming the place to be! Should be advertised in the Adelaide must see and do places of Adelaide.
That said, this restaurant is something else. So much meat and cooked to absolute perfection.

This has become a favourite for my husband - so much meat. We ordered the Traditional Meat Platter which consisted of a huge rack of ribs, pork and beef patties, chicken skewers and cevapcicis, this was all served on a bed of sliced onions. So make sure you have a few drinks ready and also a few side like some salad, which is what we did. Absolutely delicious, quality meat, our favourite would be the ribs. The staff were lovely and service was prompt. We shall return with friends for a bigger feast next time. Just so you know, it is not cheap!

Approximate cost: $140

As one of the only Serbian places in Adelaide that I know of, I went with my partner to give it a try after work. We were surprised at how good the food and service was.
As soon as we enter it was obvious that we were newbies however they treated us with respect. We started of with the quail which was cook well and tasted fantastic. For mains we had things we can't pronounce but was told that it was a popular dish to order.
Would definitely be returning soon :)
