I love Jimmy's for their hainanese chicken and noodle soups. I like ordering the chicken noodle in clear soup for a healthy alternative on cold days. When I am on a health kick, I order their hainanese chicken, you chose breast meat or drumstick. The meals are not expensive and the servings are a decent size.

I am a regular here for some assam laksa! Very tasty. Reasonable size and portion for the price. Service quick and efficient- cafeteria style- but does not feel crowded on most weekends. I usually get a can of 100 plus drink with the noodles. I really should try some of the other dishes, like other laksas and ho-fun.

The value for money was great, only $10-ish each for the laksa/prawn noodles, and $8 for my bowl of noodles.
Ordered their chicken laksa the other day and it turned out to be not bad at all. Food came out fast. next time I probably will try their hainan Chicken rice.
Jimmy's had a lot of laksa lovers and there are enough choices in Sydney - so that speaks volumes.

Those reviewing my profile will know I am a fan of another Sydney Laksa hot spot but Jimmy's is closer to my side of town and the Laksa here is great. Service is quick and efficient. It's busy and again I would recommend an early rather than late lunch in order to get a seat. Its great value and your are definitely satisfied after eating here.

I love having lunch here. It's always busy, the staff are attentive and quick - everyone lines up and orders at the counter then takes thier plate to a table. I particularly like all the soups - very nice, v tasty, v fresh, hot and quick. Perfect for lunch.

This place is ok, but not spectacular. I had a Haianese chicken rice here and it was decent in its taste and portion. The service is almost non-existent since you have to take the food from the counter to the table by yourself - but that's just the way it is here, and it's nothing to be disappointed about. It's a good place to go for a quick, cheap, decent Malaysian lunch.

The food is tasty and reasonably priced and the staff are also great. The food is authentic Malaysian food and there is a good range.

Extremely at lunch time during business hours. Jimmy's have an excellent selection of authentic Malaysian cuisine in a very crowded walk-way in the Galeries Victoria. The food really is quite good and good price range as well, I just don't enjoy fighting the crowd just to have lunch.

Approximate cost: $13
