Great burgers and atmosphere! Walking into this place is like stepping back in time and into a 1960's American burger joint! There is a massive selection of condiments to add to your burgers or double fried chips. The burger making process is intriguing to watch, with many old school gadgets used, and the coffee machine is like nothing you've seen before.
Modern twist on the traditional souvlaki! Right in the heart of it location wise with a casual street eat vibe. The souvlaki with chips inside you can't go past. Our order took a little longer than expected to arrive & we were looked after with free desserts!
Great souvlaki's at Jimmy Grants - as you would expect.
But it is not just all souvlaki. The wider menu is pretty good too. From grain salad (grains, nuts, pulses, herbs & yoghurt), to the chips with feta, garlic & oregano, to dessert/sweet finish dishes such as the greek doughnuts (hot fluffy golden puffs doused with honey & sprinkled with walnuts) and housemade wagon wheels.
I'm hooked! Simple and delicious and ridiculously cheap. We have been coming back 2 to 3 times a week. The salads are to die for as are the chips and souvlakia. Love!!
Amazing food and innovative menu from another George Calombaris restaurant. Not just your average souvlaki. Prawns with cucumber and mint souva was divine! Some people consider their size to be small but I enjoyed as it was just enough for me with a side of dims sims (jimmy dimmy). Make sure you pick up a jimmy's wheel too.
No bookings are taken and they do not publish their phone number. Just show up earlier and you'll get a seat! Worth the visit!
Approximate cost: $10
