Jasbelle's is a new restaurant in Addison Street, Shellharbour Village which has added something a bit different to the region. The owner Robert has always been involved with family restaurants but this is his first time setting up with his wife Haidee. Instead of the usual Chinese fare they decided to bring fusion to Wollongong. Fusion cooking is a blend of different cultural styles to create new menu ideas. Robert has combined his Chinese heritage with his experiences of growing up in Australia to create this new cuisine. He has developed dishes like Fusion Barramundi served with spiced salted potato and sweet potato or the Fusion Sizzling Steak served on a hot plate with seasonal vegetables and a creamy basil garlic sauce.
