Heard that new owners had taken over in feb 2012 and getting rid of the irish thing! so went back for another visit as its in such a great location and close to the metro area but feels like the middle of the bush. Tried the new menu and new chef, wow the beer pie and chicken parmy were great. Great for the overseas visitors we had in town. A bandicoot wondered along the verandah as we sat there and saw some kangaroos on the drive up around the estate at the back of town. great spot i recommend it to all.

Approximate cost: $30

Known as "the Irish pub in the hills, I found nothing Irish about it, besides the shamrock over the bar. For the drive out there what we got was a bit of a let down. Fisherman's basket was ok, but i have had better and for cheaper. No lemon slice with the fisherman's basket, pprently they had run out. Only a few beers available on table.

Approximate cost: $25
