I had take-away the other night (Friday 4th Oct.2013) and the food was fantastic. I have Coeliac Disease and have to eat Gluten Free. They can do around 97% of the dishes GF and were very helpful. For 4 adults we had 2 entrees, 4 mains and 2 serves of rice for around $102.00. We all enjoyed it and best of all no reactions for me. Will definitely be going back.

Approximate cost: $Mains approx $15.00

Chinese to die for! Always quality ingredients and no MSG. Usually I'm not a big fan of Chinese food & find it too boring with yucky tough & fatty pieces of chicken or beef.
I love their Carpetbag Chicken the best and haven't seen it available anywhere else. Quite pricey for a suburban restaurant but well worth it.

William and Mabel have owned this restaurant for years and is always busy and shows why with the quality of their food. Haven't been here for years but when I lived in the area, mum and I would love to come here for a fantastic chinese meal. Spoiling ourselves we would order the cantonese beef and always cooked perfectly and so delicious, prawn dishes a bit expensive at $27. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting a quality chines meal

I used to eat here a lot when I lived in the area but haven't eaten here for years. I was most impressed recently when we called in for some take away. The service was outstanding...really friendly and our order was delivered to our car (by the owner I think) where we were waiting (as we had a puppy with us and couldn't wait in the restaurant). The food was as good as ever...I remember it as one of the first Chinese restaurants that did not use MSG in the 80's, something that was important to me. The prices are comparable to the area and I have never been disappointed with the food, which is more than I can say with other restaurants in the area. Even though I live a fair distance, I will definitely be returning.

Approximate cost: $18.00

The food and service are pretty good. Probably not fantastic value for money or interior design.

On a rare child free night hubby and I popped in for a bite to eat and had a wonderful experience. The service, from the moment we entered, was phenomenal and the owner is a real character...his 25 years on site is obvious. The food was also divine. We'll be back.

An amazing restaurant that has been around for years and years. The owner is great! The food is up there with any restaurant in the city. It is very very prices however. A special occasion place. They also hold a Kevin Sheedy dinner ever year that is great!

A great gem hidden away in the burbs, who needs china town when you have this litlle beauty. William the host is very welcoming and a great host, a memory for the names of his client is unbelievible. One the best in the Eastern burbs by far.

Approximate cost: $17
