Popped in with a friend for a coffee. Had seen this cafe and lots of good reviews so had to give it a try. The staff were very attentive, we ordered drinks and needed bit of time to look at menu. Inbetween chatting the wait staff returned and we said no rush we will call you, they were just too attentive and came back and back and back. Eventually we ordered, the wait staff were helpful in explaining a dish or two. Our order came out quickly, and all was nice and fresh, hot and tasty although my toast was a bit burnt on edges, that was my only fault with dish. The place was semi busy with a turn over of diners. The set out is a bit different, the counter is against wall so you are the same side as staff which I thought a tad different, there were no kids in there while we were but i could think that may be a problem with some inquisitive kids - no barrier to keep them out of baristas area. Prices were reasonable and i look forward to another visit.

You would think you were in Brunswick Street, sitting in this funky, but kid friendly cafe in the middle of Preston. With fixie bikes outside, graffiti and quirky dressed wait-staff, this cafe brings the coffee and brunch culture out to the suburbs in all its glory. From the traditional eggs on toast (amazing rich yellow free range yolk) to something a little more exotic this place has the perfect brunch with some bonus coffee art. I love to chill here on a lazy Sunday, people watching with a book and a coffee.

Approximate cost: $10 -$25
