Delicious food. The Beef Tandoori is hot, hot, hot! The Paneer Makhani is creamy and tasty. Unfortunately we ordered take-away on a Saturday night... we waited twice as long as quoted and upon arriving home, discovered that part of our order was missing. It's not the cheapest Indian food around, so it's doubly disappointing when part of your order has been left out. We're several suburbs away so it's a commitment and driving back to get the rest was out of the question, especially after waiting so long. I called to notify them and express our disappointment. The lady was apologetic and promised to "look after" us next time. Given this experience and despite how delectable the food is, I'm not sure when that might be...

We love the Indian Star! Great food, friendly service and real value for money. We usually get take-aways, which are always pretty quick, but also enjoy the ambiance of the restaurant itself. Our biggest challenge is trying new dishes ... it's hard to go past our favourites!

Often come here with friends for dinner and usually get one of the banquets. The food is always delicious and authentic. One of the best Indian restaurants in the area and highly recommended.

Approximate cost: $30.00

Our family regular is the Lamb Biryani, before eating this dish I never understood why you would order a rice dish as a main meal, but add some Riata (yogurt) and this is mouthwateringly good. For a balanced Indian experience Indian star is the best pick in this area, for a cheaper meal with less frills there are others, but this is a good place to take someone for a quality experience. The dinning room is well presented.

Indian Star is my favourite local takeaway. I usually get the lamb with lentils (Daal Gosht), its delicious but the chicken makhani and other classics are great too. They always have your food ready quickly and are friendly and polite. Never eaten in before.

Approximate cost: $20
