Great place to go and have fun for all ages, if you take your children its best to rug them up as it is really cold in there even in summer. Great prices and staff.

The ice arena is great! One of my sisters and I started going to ice skating lessons at the ice arena, because we wanted some exercise that would develop our skills as well. I'm glad we did!
We took the drop in adult classes.

The teacher was nice, I think she could have been more helpful and open but she was pretty young. But the best part was getting better at ice skating each week!

The teacher started each class with a few exercises. One of them was to fall down on the ice safely, and that exercise, although a bit annoying, actually taught me not to be so afraid of falling over!

I totally recommend going to the ice arena. It's totally fun, you can develop your skills at a class or just have a crazy good time.

Also, the food from the cafe is really awesome (delicious in a tacky kiosk kind of a way; a chicko roll or chips slathered in chicken salt is perfect after a workout on the ice!).

If you have kids, rug them up and make sure you bring extra pairs of socks because the shoes hurt like hell, and prepare for a super fun holiday activity!

A good family day out. Is a good place to hang out for the younger kids too. I hadn't been for years and thought I would take my boys for a go. The older one loved it, the younger one not so much but we all had a fun day. Price isn't too bad but I was very disappointed there is no fake snow slide anymore. It was always good for a laugh. Don't think I will be returning in a hurry but very glad the ice rink is making enough money to continue to stay open.

A good day out for young and big kids. id recommend wearing long sleeved clothing as if you take a tumble it can be painful on bare skin. Really fun thing to do, all the kids enjoyed it even the hubby did too although he spent most of his time on the beginners rink much to the kids amusement!

i loved the ice arena when i was kid and i love it now. being the only ice skating rink in adelaide, its the place to take your kids, at least once. there are 2 rinks, one smaller one for beginners and a larger one for everyone else. the shoes are really uncomfortable no matter how many pairs of socks you wear and often they give you blisters, but its so worth the fun. there's a small tuck shop inside which sells hot food and drinks but nowadays its never open when i go which is a disappointment.
