Purchased a voucher deal online for all over colour & cut. Made ph booking & asked for someone who was experienced with curly hair. Was told one person would do the colour & another the cut to get the best outcome. I got there late, because the map on the voucher was incorrect, which I was learnt the salon was aware of but did not correct.
A hairdresser & said they would do both the colour & cut. I objected, referring to my booking conversation & so that was OK. I then explained that I wanted a tint to cover the regrowth & tone in with the previous blonde colour. I was told that just a tint was impossible as my roots would turn orange. I should have left at this point but believed foolishly that I could sort it out. I was assured that I'd need foils with toner at a further cost of $150.00 to make the result satisfactory and not orange. None of this matched any previous experience I'd had with tints on my regrowth etc but against my better judgement, I agreed.
The result made my hair look grey all over the top. No evidence of the naturalistic streaks foils are intended to create. Then another hairdresser came over with a blow dryer & dried my fine curly hair with it by blasting it on full heat. I asked why & was told it would be cut dry. In my experience, it is usual for the hairdresser to ask the client what they would like & do their best to oblige. Instead, I was told layers would be cut into the body of my hair. I said to wait, wanting more discussion as I liked to wear my hair naturally curly & wanted to preserve the convex shape at the back. I was told that the layering was all that was needed for now & I agreed to this after stipulating blunt cutting, meaning, no thinning. My hair was cut in seconds. I now looked like I'd gone grey & my hair was all messy, dried out and mostly straight.
2 days later I went to another salon to get colour & cut rectified at further expense. I have not bothered to contact Ibiza as listening is clearly not a valued skill in that business. Furthermore, after such a spectacular demonstration of professional incompetence, I would not have trusted them to have the necessary skills to rectify the mess they made of my hair. Be warned.

Michael fitted me in last minute and did a fantastic job on fixing a 'hacked' job from a reputable hairdresser. The end result was a flattering haircut and blow dry and even a loyalty card which will discount my visits further down the track. I now only trust Michael to do my hair

MY NEW SALON "I LOVE IT" My friend and i were at a fashion show and we meet michael who owns ibiza and he offered myself and my friend nicole " bring a friend offer ". SO we both went in and we both got colours and cuts, Then he gave us a total of $80 off the bill!!!!
The work was great, we had a bottle of wine while we were getting pampered. The wine was from ibiza hair to us as a gift for coming.
