I was referred to Matt by a close friend who had gone to Matt to help her with her fear of public speaking (which she found to be really very effective). I was suffering from anxiety, so much so that I was battling to concentrate at work because I was inflating very minor issues in my head and no longer thinking rationally. I had begun having major arguments with my partner and it was getting to the stage where my anxiety was jeopardising my relationships with friends and family. I was also a very sensitive person - the consequence of a very difficult childhood - which also impacted my day-to-day experiences quite negativekly as I would always take people's comments the wrong way. I got to the point where I decided that I needed to empower myself, so I booked in a few sessions with Matt. After the very first session I felt markedly different - almost as if I had taken a tranquiliser. I was calm, I no longer had road-rage, I didn't experience chest pain and started showing the trust and respect to those people in my life who had always deserved it.
