Great place to visit whilst in the Hunter region. Must for chocaholics. Great variety of chocolate delights available. Can watch them making chocolate goodies at times. Fudge variety is great. Discounts available for VIP's

On a recent road trip we went in search of the Hunter Valley Chocolate Factory... Our GPS soon got us lost so if you intend to take a trip out to Lovedale to visit this chocolate house... do your research first! (The do have an online store so if your curious it might save you some driving around in circles unless you want a weekend drive of course)

Once we did find the chocolate residence I have to admit I was some what disappointed by the chocolate selection. There is a display of what I think were slightly over price individual chocolates.

The rest of the produce here isn't so much chocolate based having a wide collection of lollies, honey, jam and other products as well which are not on the online store.

The liquorish we bought here however was really really good, as were the chocolate coated almonds and coffee beans... but at that price it's not something you want regularly but makes a very nice treat.

We did find the service really friendly and helpful.

Bottom line, Over priced, good quality but I'd check out online before taking the drive, the postage charge will likely be less than your petrol bill.
