Such a great way to get a good workout and enjoy the surroundings at the same time. I did so much walking and grabbed some great photos along the way. It was definitely worth the visit and I'm hoping to return in Spring to do the walk again but get a different view than what it is in Winter.
Approximate cost: $2
Wow! A huge congratulations to the volunteers and organising committee on keeping a wonderful place so appealing and interesting to the public. We went on a 'Childrens' open day. For a small fee each child was given a shoulder bag with stickers and info inside. They all got to do craft activities, see wildlife displays, learn about recycling, meet the police and look at their cars, see bee keeping, do aboriginal painting, plants trees and shrubs to take home and make grassy heads. Was above and beyond fantastic. A cafe with delicious scones and tea and a souvenir shop with educational and craft gifts available. Nice clean toilets and the best friendly staff ever. We are making this an annual excursion and highly recommend you go along to.
My friend got married at the outside chapel in the gardens . It was very gorgeous . Lots of nice areas for wedding photos . The only problem was you need lots of aero guard because there is plenty of Mosquitos
Thanks for the mosquito warning as I plan to head out here this weekend.
