HSBC is a wonderful bank. 5 star in my opinion.

I am making reference to the HSBC branch located in Joondalup. This place is very neat, professional and clean. There is always a very polite greeter to assist when you first walk into the branch. There are individual seats in their lounge area while you wait for your number to be called. The number of times I have been there, I had to wait at least 5 to 10 mins as I only see one teller doing the everyday transaction work. Not a long wait except that it becomes problematic when you have an accompanying toddler and there is no play area for them. Otherwise the service is great.

HSBC was a good bank, but not now. The interest rate on saving is no longer competitive (they used to be pretty good). Went to a branch because they are doing a promotion for a low interest rate home loan. The lady was very 'elegant' and show no interest on ordinary customer like me.

HSBC always deliever good service to customer in their branch office. They seems very polite and trying the best to help. However, the business was rather tricky about their offer and promotion that they put on advertising that they don't really exist. It happens to me for my saving account and credit card apply last year

great company with alot of good products. I have a credit card with them, which is great. there customer service is wonderful and there team are great and well educated in there products

I wanted to open a savings account with them and got a good deal. They have a promo going on til next month regarding savings account. Secondly, they give 5% interest on a minimum saving of $5000.

I dont know why ppl have their everyday transaction account with any other bank... I to dont like the fact that HSBC isnt fully australian but if everyone converted maybe our own Aussie banks would wake up and realise they cant keep charging us to look after our money which they need in order to be able to make any money to lend out!!

I was searching for a bank card which does not have a month service fee, nomarly 5 dollars a month, since my finished my study at University. So I applied my 1st bank card, following a credit card in 2007. well, you can access most ATM without charges too.

This service is good if you like self-service. If you have to call up the customer service it can be hard to understand as it is outsourced. The accounts mainly do not have monthly account keeping fees so thats a plus. However lots of stuff are done by telephone or mailing correspondence if something goes wrong. Otherwise A+++ for not charging me lots of fees!

Most HSBC staffs are used to be Hong Kong people. Don't know why, but usually their attitude to customers are not very polite. Now, it's changing, maybe it is because they hire more people from China instead of Hong Kong.
