Attended a hens party in the upstairs function room and i couldn't fault the experience. It was spacy, a gorgeous outside area with views towards Luna Park/the beach, the food was yummy and the staff were pleasant

I would just say that this sells your typical pub food. Nothing to fancy or innovative, it is what you would expect for a joint like this. The food is well done and very nice and agreeing with the comment below it is a great place to hang out with your friends.

It's a great place to meet friends mid week. The pool table, juke box and fire place in winter makes The Barkly a fun hang out. The food is great and really cheap - under $10 for a pizza, pasta and other main meals.
