They refused me a refund when the product I bought was not what was labeled on the packaging. Claimed it was my fault for not opening the packaging and testing the product before purchasing!?!

I recently shopped at Hot potato, I was very excited to find a mirror that seemed a bargain. Upon exiting the store however the mirror broke and the store clerk refused to replace it or exchange which I though extremely bad service given I had not broken the mirror it just cracked with normal handling. Im sure this is breach of the competition and consumer laws. I will be giving this account to my local ombudsman.

great at this time of year for all things Christmas... wrap/cards/tree decorations and super cheap stocking fillers. Worth a look as you never know what you may find - they have everything!

This is the ultimate in cheap & cheerful one stop shops. If you want something art & crafty, go there, if you need some cheap sunnies, go there, even if you want some cheap kitchen ware, it's the place to go... the staff are very pleasant also. It's bargain central!
