Nice atmosphere.. the staff were very friendly .. Good selection of food.. I had the fries with seaweed powder (flavour)..it was different but very nice.. then, i had the salmon potato (its fried - looks like a meatball) tasty...

They changed management and I was a bit worried, but I went last night and it was still very nice. Will go again :).

I love love love Horoki - I have been assured by my partner that it is the most authentic Japanese experience he has had since Japan. The crispy chicken and the duck and eggplant dishes are to die for and for something really different - the tomato/pesto bread is fab!!!!

horoki is my favourite restaurant ever! the dishes are a little on the small side, but that just means you can order more! it's a cute little place with the best food! i've been recommending it to all my friends, and i just love going there.

The food is god damn delicious, its mixed with many styles but still japanese food. I could say one of the best modern japanese food I've ever had. I been to many japanese restaurants in Melbourne which operate and cook by japanese in Melbourne. Horoki give me the feeling that it could be one of the best.
