I've mostly had takeaways, but have also had a sit-down meal here. Their seafood is great - fresh and tasty. The service is friendly and fast, and this spot offers good value for what you get. There's nearly always a queue (which is a good sign, I think), but the wait is never long. My friend and I sat outside the one time, and the waiter was so accommodating. He brought the portable gas heater closer to us, because he could see my friend was cold. The cutlery was stainless steel, not plastic (as with many takeaway joints), and the food was nicely plated and presented, as well as delicious. I've mostly had fish and chips or calamari, but I intend to try some of their specialities in the future, as they sound and look extremely tempting. On my 'wishlist' is: beer-battered oysters, Sydney rock oysters and prawn skewers. Charming sidewalk setting in the tiny village of Greenwich (right alongside a bottle shop, which is also handy). I'd call it 'cheap and cheerful'. BTW: I'm not sure of their hours, but I know they aren't open on Saturday nights. I guess they need some time off too (it's a family-run business, I gather).
Approximate cost: $10 - $15
