I bought a number of items from these lovely people and was delighted with the service, the lads i spoke to Sam and Brendan where both very helpful and sorted me out with a made to order and colour matched dinning setting which matches beautifully with a kitchen dresser my grandfather built 35 years ago. The lovely miss Jenny gave me a few good laughs and Chris gave me some great advice on restoring my old unit to give it a fresh look with some of he guardsman products, Brendan even set me up with a furniture insurance pack which i hadn't even heard of prior. The team on the Truck where great, young Steve was very polite to my 3 boys and Ray was very knowledgeable with his products and the whole process went without a hitch, the delivery fee was quite reasonable for half a truck full of hard wood furniture, $15.00 extra to put the table together but well worth it for piece of mind and time saved trying to do it myself.
highly recommend this store.

When I ordered my dinning table in Dec 2015, I was told I would get it by Christmas. But later on, they said I had to wait till Mar 2016 because they had to get it from China. I was a little bit surprised when I heard that. The furniture shop dose have very big sign in the shop said " MADE IN LOCAL". Anyway, I didn't complain anything at that time.
In Mar 2016, at long waiting, I finally get a phone call said they would deliver my dinning set. On the day it was delivered, the person who delivered the table asked for extra $50 for assembling. I refused and pointed out that assembling was included and it was wrote down on the sales contract. When he assembled the table, he damaged the table and made a crack on the table. I called the shop and asked for replacement. A staff member said he would contact with the factory and organised one for us. Two weeks later, he called and said a "technician" would come to my house and fixed the table. I agreed if the "technician" was able to fix the table properly, I didn't have to get a new table to replace the damaged one. This staff member made an appointment on good Friday, even I confirmed when he four times when he made the appointment. I kept reminding him it was public holiday. But he insisted that was right because " the technician was very busy and he was single ........". We waited the whole day on good Friday, no one showed up and no phone call. And we missed out a friends wedding on that day. Sunday, the 'technician ' showed up. It turns out that busy technician was the same person who delivered and damaged the table at the beginning. He brought a piece of wood to replace the cracked piece. The replacement was clearly taken from some old table. It was much smaller than the cracked piece and it had four holes on that. It left big gaps on the table.

I called the shop and told them I was very unhappy the job. They said it couldn't be as the technician said " your husband was very happy and he told him the table was fixed perfect". I pointed out that I had no idea who, but at least one of them was lying. Anyway, he finally agreed to replace the table. After two weeks waiting, the same technician brought a new table top. But when he took of the old table top, the same technician cracked the table leg. It was two weeks ago, we are still eating on the coffee table with a broken table in the dinning room. By the way, they asked my husband to pay for the dinning set and promised to replace the damaged table with a new one. My husband believed him and he did pay it over the phone by credit card.

sounds odd, I've bought a number of pieces off home pine furniture and have never had any issues, i found the staff where very honest and direct, they where very clear about wait times and albeit the furniture took a few days longer than expected the obviously can't control supply and transport from the companies who they order off. the large sign "Made To Order" is obviously directed at the products that are local and the young gent i spoke to was clear that two of my 8 items where imports. The delivery team where excellent and did charge $15.00 to put my table together but it took them a matter of 5 minutes and my dinning room was set up and ready to use. on the day of delivery the staff at the store and the truck lads where all very professional, it sounds like you had a very bad experience with this particular table, perhaps next time you buy furniture go for a local manufacturer not an asian import, most of the ausy made tables have those little flag stickers on them.

We highly recommend Home Pine Furniture. We required custom made solid Tasmanian Oak furniture for our elderly Mum/Mother-in-law's new home. Chris assisted us through the entire process of confirming the exact dimensions, designs and stain we required for the fabulous dining table and chairs, sofa table, coffee table, T.V. Unit, side table and bedroom suite. Chris provided exceptional customer service and his product knowledge was truly impressive. Chris was always totally professional, courteous and friendly and the lead time and delivery was exceptionally prompt. Our Mum/Mother-in-law, family members and friends have commented that the furniture is simply beautiful and compliments the home perfectly. We highly recommend Home Pine Furniture for their stunning craftsmanship, attention to detail and outstanding customer service.

I thoroughly recommend this store. It is easy to find and access, parking is great and the service is really good. They allow you to browse without hassling you. After searching eBay without success for two years) I found their website and then decided to go to the store for a look. I wish I'd bought my tall boy there as I'm sure it would have been much cheaper than I paid. The bonus is that you are buying Australian and keeping kids in jobs. The quality is nice, a little rustic but what you would expect for pine. They are the sturdiest stools I have sat on and as I get older they height is perfect as I don't have to climb up onto it. I purchased some great spotted Ikea chair pads that look fab and they don't slip off either. I'm now waiting for Home Pine Furniture to call me so I can order another 3 stools (in the swivel top after I check them out, otherwise I'll just get 3 more of the fixed tops) for the holiday house!

Have purchased a lot of my home furnishings from this store, the service and product knowledge was impressive and I now have a great set of made to order furniture to fit my home like a glove, they even matched a coffee table to one I inherited off a now passed relative, both style and colour.
despite the name I found a good range of hard wood furniture. the delivery team were pleasant and efficient despite my house being somewhat difficult to transit at times (previous stores have left me to need to move the furniture my self after leaving it in my garage)

highly recommend this store.

I was looking for some simple, cheap furniture for some extra storage. I went with homepine furniture because the promised delivery within 2 weeks.

I also ordered raw finish because I was told it would take an extra 2 weeks to get it stained (and said I would stain myself to save time).

After several weeks of calling and chasing up why it hadn't arrived yet - it was finally delivered 7 weeks later - all sealed in clear gloss so I can't stain it.

The delivery guy admitted it was a mistake (and the order form he handed over clearly says raw) and begged me not to send it back.

The quality is OK, pretty much what you'd expect for cheap pine, a bit rough and ready but it does the job.

I guess the moral of the story is you get what you pay for.

Approximate cost: $~$600 for a wardrobe
