The Best Wine Tasting Experience!

We have travelled to alot of winerys over the years and there have been none so welcoming and forthcoming as Bob and Robyns Hollands Wines.

We were greeted by Bob on arrival who was very friendly and made us feel very at home. As were were shown to the wine tasting room Bob provided the history of his Winery. The Tasting room itself was quite a surprise, they had an amazing assortment of local and regional crafted goods for sale and it was great to see that level of community support. The wine tastings were generous and allowed us to make an informed decision on what to buy. Noting that we very nearlly could have bought every type of wine, but settled on 4-5. Bob provided details on each wine and shared knowledge which you dont ususally get from other winerys and only added to the experience. Upon leaving we realised that there was another wine that we wished we had bought but alas this only provides us with a great excuse to go back for more!

What a lovely visit we had. My Dad is a bit of a grump but Bob soon cheered him up. I really hadn't thought of this area at good wine bearing country but judging by the state of my wine rack I was very wrong. Dad even walked away with a box of the sparkling pink Moscato. A bit sweet for me but that's just me.

Bob and Robyn are fantastic hosts. They have quality wines for everyone`s palate. A must visit on the Darling Downs at historic Crows Nest.......

We were warmly greeted at Holland Wines and shown to the tasting rom. We experienced a range of wines, my favourite being a white cab-sav perfect for Christmas seafood. Bob, the owner was friendly and hospitable. You can even pre-arrange refreshments. Kids welcome. Giftware available. Will definitely be visiting again.

I bought a bottle of the Pink Moscato at the Cobb+Co Museum last year the Hand Made Under The Stars twilight market. I loved it so much that I went and found Bob at the Hampton Food and Wine Festival in May this year. Looking forward to seeing Bob at the Cobb+Co Museum twilight markets again this year on December 6th!

A massive thanks to Robert and Robyn! Amazing property, great wines and really warm hospitality. Glorious gardens attracting birdlife of all shapes and colours. Robert made wine tasting a less complicated experience, leaving us with a greater appreaciation of the selection of wines we took home. Looking forward to cracking a Ravishing Red when we get home.

Excellent treatment from bob very helpful and offered a good range of wines for tasting. Beautiful gardens for a snack and coffee. Reasonably priced wines. Nice little souvenir shop well priced. Will take our caravan club back there, if you have a group ring ahead and they wii set up snacks and coffee. Colin northern rivers caravan club.

The Port was the best I have ever tasted. Our friends enjoyed the wine as well. I enjoyed Rob and Robyn's company.
