5 reviews about Hog's Breath Cafe

The first Hog's Breath Cafe I went to, and still one of my favourites. Every time I've been here is with a large group, and we are always well taken care of. The staff are friendly, the service is great, and we always have a good time.

The only downside, really, has been the parking. Being so central to everything, however, this can easily be overcome.

The Hogs Breathe on Petrie Terrace has a nice atmosphere inside the restaurant but it is located on an intersection between 2 busy roads which makes it quite noisy. The food is the usual Hogs Breathe standard (delicious) but the service here was a little slow and the waiters took their time doing simple tasks like getting a new fork for my child when he dropped it.

Approximate cost: $25

This is another Hogs Breath that I eat at as it's just up the road from the Holiday Inn Brisbane, but it really is for convenience and that I'm a Frequent Diner member which gets you 25% discount off your main meal that makes the price of the meal about the right price. But though I have eaten here three times I haven't ever really left feeling like I had a good time, a fun experience or a memorable evening. It was and is everything Hogs breath to all the Hogs parafanalia, and the full menu with my Favourite slow cooked steaks, my two favourites are with prawns on top, or Avocado with Bernaise sauce. If you want it a bit simpler then the blackened steak is nice. The curly fries with cheese sauce is delicious. The service is good but that really is it, your served, food delivered and you leave, I don't know why but it feels different than allot of other Hogs Breath restaurants I've been too. In the evening it can be cool if your outside so take that into account, great for a feed but don't go for fun.

Approximate cost: $35.00

We have been to many Hog's Breath resturaunts from Coff's Harbour to Sydney Bondi, Gold Coast and all of Brisbane and Paddington was definitely the least impressive.

Don't get me wrong i love Hogs Breath, just not in Paddington, bad service, small car park, old and non air conditioned building. Before you try this restaurant try the Hogs breath in Indoorpilly its one of the best.
