I found a new fav Vietnamese place to go. I tried the seafood springrolls and the pork belly buns. What really surprised me was the springrolls, they fried the skin so it was crispy when you bit inside it, so good! The pork belly buns were also really juicy and the bun had good texture. Overall, good experience.

I went to Hochi Mama as part of my Melbourne eating feasting. I had been stalking them on instagram and was so excited to visit and try their food. I tried their signature pho'plings which were dumplings in soup, I found them to be alright. The fried chicken was a huge serving, delicious but I could not eat it all. Surprisingly the winner of the dinner was the stir fried morning glory. The meals are generally designed to be shared. Service was friendly. Very funky atmosphere.

Located next to Rice Paper Scissors which is becoming difficult to dine at without a significant waiting time, Hochi Mama is a great backup plan.
It was chic, edgy, modern but hip with neon pink Hochi Mama sign decorating the wall. The space was limited, it was best for a group of 2-6. There is one communal table for 10 people and open bar where you can enjoy casual drinks while waiting for your table. The food was great.
