Very disappointing, won't be back! Over priced food to start with. Very rude staff with no customer skills at all. I had a pumpkin and beetroot salad and a cup of lemongrass and ginger tea, cost just under $22! Left feeling hungry and very disappointed. Salad was nothing to rave about, pumpkin was tasteless, tea was so weak I could neither taste the lemongrass or ginger. Both the waitress and chief were very rude. We asked for water and got told to help ourselves at their "water station" which was outside on the veranda, we found glasses but no bottles or jugs and when we enquired about it were told to use the tap. The tap was the garden tap that had a hose fitting connected to it! Water was hot and tasted terrible. We did ask the waitress for ice and got told "we don't do ice" The chief then came outside and told us that if they were to give us water in a bottle it would come out of the same tap and it was just mind over matter that the water out of a bottle tasted better than water out of a tap!
I have previously eaten here over the past years and it has gone to the pack. I worked in the town for 20 years and used to recommend it as a lovely place to eat but I won't be anymore. Such a shame as it is in a lovely setting, just a pity the waitress and chief have such big chips on their shoulders. Certainly no way to get return customers. By the way when leaving we noticed they had removed the tap fitting. Must have been listening in on our conversation as well

Went there on a holiday with my family. There is also a beautiful pie shop around the corner. But the prices here were great and the food tasted great. :) 7/10

This is a lovely little cafe set in pretty garden surrounds and serving old fashioned home made meals and cakes. Popular with bike riders in the mornings and busy right through out the day with locals and visitors. It's off the main street and nice and quiet tucked in behind a small art gallery. Lovely!

Approximate cost: $15.00
