I used a gift voucher at the Hilton for a Deluxe room with breakfast buffet at Glass Brasserie. Unfortunately, they did not have any deluxe rooms available for the date that we wanted to stay and we were offered an executive room for about $70 extra, which I was happy with as it included access to executive benefits such as evening drinks and canapes.

The hotel lobby is beautiful, modern and very clean and all staff we encountered provided great service with impeccable manners.

The executive room in my opinion is suited for the business traveller and not so much for a weekend away in a luxury hotel. It is spotless, comfortable and modern however I didn't find it was particularly special for the price you pay, and it is also quite small. You are getting great value for the prime location in the middle of Sydney CBD though.

Drinks and canapes were great in the Executive Lounge although they did run out of spirits quite quickly.

Buffet breakfast in the hotel restaurant - Glass Brasserie, was absolutely beautiful with lots of variety.

This hotel has long been a favourite of ours. When I lived in Sydney, we would usually meet in the lobby at the Hilton. The buffet is good, but not overly large, the location is right in the heart of the city.

Coming back to Sydney this can be a great choice as a place to stay.

I just want to say, there are better restaurants, buffets and accommodation in Sydney than the Hilton, but the Hilton manages to do well at everything, so that overall the result is one of the best options in Sydney.

I think because of their name they can charge whatever they like and the staff seem to think they are just as good as the hotel. which can come across in the wrong way alot of the time. I felt like some staff were looking down upon me however that could be just my interpretation.

Rooms were lovely and still had that new feeling which can disappear quickly in hotels..

I stayed at the Hilton a while ago on Christmas eve, and i must say i was very impressed with the quality and service. I didnt really get to explore the hotel as I only stayed 1 night, but i did get to use the pool.. and let me tell you.. GIRLS you wont leave the change rooms! They have alot of GHD straighteners and hair dryers there for you to use for free! And also there shampoos and conditioners were also quite nice to use! Would recommend and would definately come back!

I stayed on the Hilton for my wedding night and the check-in desk gave us alot of grief when we checked in. We only had the bride's ID and credit card and not the groom's ID and credit card. It was our wedding day and we didn't have both our wallets. Eventually we got in, but it didn't set the right tone for the evening.

Approximate cost: $400

That is none of their buisness who is staying in your room I would think. The fact it was your wedding day is ridiculous, you would think that even if you stayed in a caravan park they would be super nice and accomodating on your wedding day!

As other members have already commented, this sounds like an unnecessary and 'over the top' request. Thanks for the heads-up! Reeces

We stayed here one night for ANZAC day and were impressed with the convenient location and style of this hotel. We were able to watch the ANZAC parade from our hotel window - just the best view in town... The buffet breakfast and access to health centre nearby were an added bonus. We'd definitely recommend this hotel for a short break.

Approximate cost: $260.00

The Hilton Hotel , One of Sydneys first Five star Hotels , very nice hotel, and the restaurants and marble bar should be on your visit list, if in Sydney.

Excellent stay. 1st time we stayed there our room was on the corner and good amount of space. 2nd time room was smaller and not as enjoyable. Buffet breakfast was amazing.

Approximate cost: $250-$350
