I will never now go anywhere else, I consider myself very lucky to have come across Amy. She is very professional and extremely good at what she does. She runs on time and you never have to sit and wait inbetween your wash, cut or blowdry which is my pet hate! My haircut now takes half the time it used to and is 100% better. Amy knows exactly what you want - in fact when I walked out after my first visit I thought my hair was as good if not better than my original hairdresser that I had for nearly 20 years and I couldnt stop smiling and telling everyone. So thank you Amy you are wonderful!

I went to see Amie at Higgins hair design, as I needed someone who would cut my hair extensions to blend it into my natural hair & had read some great reviews on Womo.
I was a bit worried about it as I'd heard some horror stories about hairdressers hacking into hair extensions & wrecking them, so it was really important that I find someone experienced.
Amie was lovely, professional & did a fantastic job of my hair extensions, I couldn't be happier & will definitely be going back!!!

I've been seeing Amie for a number of years and everytime, she knows exactly what I'm after. Her professionalism is outstanding and she's willing to assist any customer with their hair.
I've had numerous colours (I'm currently a bright red), from blonde to purple and am now getting my extensions through Amie. She offers superb colouring. I often get asked who does my hair as no one else can seem to get the colour to the same standard that Amie can.
I've never looked back since seeing her - simply amazing!

Every time I walk out of the salon I feel a million dollars. Amy is an amazing hairdresser and I'm constantly complimented on my short hair cut, colour and highlights. Value for money is excellent and I can't recommend this salon enough to anyone considering a change of hair salon!

I went to Higgins hair design approximately 2 years ago to get a quote for a perm amie was half the price that I'd been quoted at a few salons in belconnen area. I figured I would give it a go and I haven't left !!! Amie did a amazing job at half the price with the best results I have ever had. I left with my hair exactly as I had imagined , still as healthy as it was when I went in. this is the best spiral perm I have ever had ,and I have had several that have destroyed my healthy hair .My hair is very long down to my lower back I still continue to see amie and love how she does mine and my whole family's hair

I have been getting my hair done by Amie at Higgins Hair Design for many years now, and i definetely wouldnt go anywhere else. I have got everything from cuts, colours, styles, extensions and have never had anything but outstanding results.
Amie is very good at what she does, offering expert advice and suggestions on what works and what doesnt work with my hair, giving an honest opinion when requested.
I am often complimented on my hair and asked where I have had it done. I have no hesitation in telling all of my friends that Higgins Hair Design is the best value hairdresser in Canberra. I even drive there from Banks!!

i was previoulsy getting hair extensions done at Hair on Briely
at Cooleman Court in weston and it was getting extremely ripped off
(eg she charged me $1400 for a full head of Extensions)
then i friend reffered me to Amie at higgins hair design
i told her exactly how i wanted my colour and that i only wanted the
very ends cut off the extension to keep them healthy. she explaned exactly what
colours she was using and when cutting the extensions she
showed me exactly how much she was cutting. i was so extremley happy with the
service in a few months time i needed to purchase new extension i went an got a
qoute from Amie and it was less then half what i paid previuoulsy at Hair on Briely
and the quality of the hair was 10 times better.
so if anyone out there is looking to get hair extensions dont even hesitate go straight to
higgins hair design and i promsie that you wont regret it

I have been to a lot of hairdressers in Canberra and always ask for a small trim and the same colour. I never seem to get what I want they always cut more than I want and the colour seems to always be different. I went to see Amie at Higgins after she was refered by a friend and I an soo happy with my hair. It was the best hair cut I have had in a long time.Amie only cut the amount I wanted and the colour was perfect.
