Meal was fantastic and if you were a member I think it would be the place to go! A little pricey for an everyday meal but for a special occasion probably no better place to go around Wallan

The restaurant and function centre are located in the Golf & Country Club building and are situated near 2 magnificent lakes. You enter from the Northern Highway and drive down, down into the valley, relaxing and enjoying the breathtaking views!

Now you're in the mood for some great food, you will find the owner and staff very friendly and attentive with being intrusive. Service can be a little bit slow when very busy, but you're in beautiful surroundings and relaxed so don't really notice or care. The food is delicious with generous serves and they have a great wine list and beer on tap. They also have special nights e.g. Monday $14 Roast of the Day, Tuesday kids eat free, Thursday $14 Parma night (subject to change of course). All prices are good -- you would expect to pay a lot more for this quality in Melbourne.

They have casual seating where you can gather with friends for coffee and cake or pre-dinner drinks and then move to your table. In winter they have a lovely open log fire and in summer you can relax outside and then stroll in for your meal.

We also had our daughter's 21st birthday dinner there and everyone commented on the unique setting and how beautiful it was. All the guests thoroughly enjoyed their dining experience.

The ambience is lovely and you never feel rushed. They are also open for breakfast and lunch. Overall a fantastic day or night out. I thoroughly recommend it and now as a local we go on a regular basis.
