great range on menu at reasonable prices meal steak here is fantastic great atmosphere with real good service and top quality food will eat here again for sure

its the only place in town with a hot rock yes they are costley but it cooks the steak the way you wont it .It cooks in fount of you and the smell is to die for and the kids get a great feed too

I always thought this was a dodgy pub until a friend suggested eating there and I hesitantly agreed. I think what had previously put me off was the plain shop front and the fact that it has a bottle shop attached to it.

The phrase 'don't judge a book by its cover' comes to mind as I was pleasantly surprised by the nice casual interior and well set out dining area which was very family friendly with quite a few high chairs and ample room around the tables.

The menu had your basic pub meals along with a few more restaurant type meals. My vegetarian friend likes this place particularly because of the variety of the 4 or 5 gourmet vegetarian meals. On this occasion she had the roasted pumpkin gnocchi which tasted amazing. I chose the hot rock dining option where they bring out your steak on a sizzling hot 'rock' plate so that it cooks while you are still eating it.

Good service, good food, we will definitely be eating here again and recommending it to others.
