I went to the store in Rothwell for a new laptop my friend had bought there less than a week ago. I told them my budget and what specs I wanted. Can't believe the bad service. Had three sales people hounding us and they kept lying about the quality of the CPU. After I googled it and called them on it, they just told me I wouldn't be able to get the computer for that price anywhere. I went to JB and got a better computer for more that 100 less. Never going to Harvey Normans again

I bought a new computer and coffee machine last week at Harvey Norman Rothwell. They had a great offer going for computer products if you purchased through flexi-rent and I received $200 in Harvey Norman Vouchures. The only down side was that I had to take the display model of the computer that I wanted if I was to take it home that day. Then when I did get it home they hadn't cleared the computer so that I could use it straight away and I had to call to obtain passworks etc. Over customer service and the quality of what I bought was exceptional though.

I like this store, but I think they need to drop their prices a little. They are the most expensive store in the area. I like to browse here, and at sale times they have value for money. The service in the computer section is always a bit slow though. I go here if I need something for my home or computer, but I always shop around first. They couldn't match a price I got on a computer, so I went elsewhere. Nice layout though. Easy to park too.

I like this store, but they are still more expensive than others. I often window shop here if I'm in the market for something electrical or furniture. There are times that it's worth shopping here when there are sales on. I had to wait 20 minutes the other day to ask about a laptop/notebook, and that is no real good customer service. They are very busy at sale times, and should have extra staff in the electronics and computer section then.

My husband and myself bought a surround sound system from here last weekend. After quite Abit of research, we decided on a system that was on sale in this store. The young salesman tried to sell us a more expensive unit, even though we told him we were happy with the one chosen. When my husband was putting it together, we found the pack didn't include a cable necessary to hook everything up. We were quite annoyed the sales person had neglected to point this out, and it took another trip to the store and $100 to complete installation

I had to buy a printer, and don't really know much about them. The customer service was great and informative with follow up. I will shop there again

I had bought a Reciever from harvey normans at rothwell for 1499 not a cheap one, near their top of the range and was told that it would be in stock in 2 days, I waited a week to go back and see whats going on with no phone call, they said it would arrive in another couple of days so again i have waited a week with no phone call, this has happened 4 times now and ive waited 26 days with only me chasing up the item with no phone calls stating a delay, I have bought many 1000s of dollars worth of stock from them but ill be going to JB from now on, Still has not arrived wish me luck

Great friendly staff who aren't there to just sell you things, they really care about what you need and find the best solution. They explain all the technology gizmos and honestly tell you what you do and do not need! Top Service!!!

This is a new store,, therefor the staff are all new but I was impressed by the friendly atmosphere and how pleasant and willingly to engage the staff were.
