Snotty staff, Happy to sell Samsung Tablets, not grate when Tablets don't work, zero help to troubleshoot, pass the buck, my real beef is with their Corporate Head Office lying to me and just appearing to be completely uninterested. The Tablet can't be faulted by them so I effectively have a $500 door stop.

I've pretty much bought every electrical item in my house from here. I've always been given great deals here so why go anywhere else? Great prices, great service and convenient location. Always a pleasure to deal with.

First of all, HN runs like a loosely-fitted giant retail nightmare where each department does its own thing (does not talk to its neighbour) and imposes separate delivery fees even if the delivery date is the same!

Most of staff are knowledgeable, I talked to a very nice lady in the furniture department, a very nice guy in the pillow department and a few nice people from the home electronics (washer/dryer/fridge) department... and also encountered a few rude ones. The cashiers are often the nicest folks around.

The delivery guys were very rude from the electronics section and quite friendly/helpful from the furniture section.

New to canberra and a new job, we were sent here through a company flyer offering staff-level discounts one late-night shopping Friday. To our surprise, the electrical and furnishing sections are completely separate and would incur separate delivery dates and charges. Though the prices were pretty good, I was shocked that for self pickup items, I had to drive more than a mile away only to wait close to half an hour at their warehouse, just to pick up 2 barstools. If I hadn't paid for them already, I would've left!

We recently bought a Whopping big plasma and a stereo system from Ben
The service we received was exceptional - he was able to answer all of our questions (even the really dumb ones) and left us alone to have a chat to discuss the options when we said we would have a think about things.
Ben gave us advice on the pros and cons of each system, and didn't pressure us into choosing any particular brand or model - just good honest advice and no hard sell at all.
Then when we were ready to go ahead he was able to offer a great deal.

If you are in the market for electricals - go and have a chat to the guys at Harvey Norman Fyshwick. You won't be disappointed.

The sales people are always honest with their products and willing to give a good deal. I bought a Qosmio laptop from them a little over 6 months ago. And I'm very happy with it, its got a Core i7 in it and when I had problems with it, they were very helpful and it was all fixed within the warrenty free of charge. Fast and Friendly service.
