Harvey Norman Stores, Taree and Forster

To Store Owners, Store Managers, Department Managers and All Store Staff

I would like to drop a quick Thankyou for the exceptional service that was offered, organised and delivered by 2 Local Stores with only 1 small fault of wrong product provided at initial point of sale, which was corrected as below timeline of the entire sale for the Nokia Lumia 1520 Smartphone.

terrific, I have my Nokia Lumia 1520 Smartphone..... WOOHOO... Ok so people do need to take a look at the service that are being offered by Harvey Norman to them.

The work, communication and organisation to arrange all the above ( done and dusted ) within the timeframe of 2hrs ( 5:38pm to 7:28pm ) was extraordinary, well thought out, organised, delivered and updated promptly.

Fantastic Service for a walk in Store.

The team mentioned above and that worked to pull this sale together have certainly set the bar for Service in Taree exceedingly high. I challenge any other Taree business to have a go.

Sad that no accessories are held or offered for sale anywhere, including the original sole trader of the Nokia Lumia 1520 in Australia, Harvey Norman.. sad... oh well.

Timeline:
Friday 30th May 2014, approx. 5:20pm

First contact was with Ian sic* Ean was on Friday 30th May 2014 regarding the Nokia Lumia 1520 Windows Smartphone, he suggested that perhaps I give Forster to see if they have Nokia Lumia 1520 Smartphone Black handsets in stock.

I rang Harvey Norman Forster and spoke to Teleah? sorry for spelling if wrong, she said that they have 2 of each the, 1320 and 1520, I said that I would get Taree to arrange with you directly for a store transfer from Harvey Norman Forster to Harvey Norman Taree, I rang Ean back at the Taree store and advised him of what I had found / organised with the Forster Store.

Ean had to arrange for transfer of the 1520 Black from Forster to Taree which would be over the weekend of ( 31st May and 1st April ) hiccups somewhere, time frame and wrong phone ( a Nokia Lumia 1320 had been brought into Taree when it was the 1520 that was required.

Monday 2nd June 2014, Time 7:55pm

I walked over to Harvey Norman Store just on 5pm and paid for carried out the product Nokia Lumia 1520 ( Operator: 20 Monique Hughes 6615 ) it was not until I got home, that I noticed the product in hand was the Nokia Lumia 1320 Smartphone.

I rang Hravey Norman Taree back and Monique answered ( same sales person Operator 20 ) I explained to her what had gone down and the phone in my hands being the Nokia Lumia 1320, when in fact I purchased the Nokia Lumia 1520, close, missed it by that much LOL

Monique ( Operator 20 ;-) hi ) asked me to leave it with her for a bit so I did. Monique rang me back and said that she has got a staff member coming from Forster to Taree and that it has been organised that the Nokia Lumia 1520 Black will be brought into Taree and dropped off at my residence around 8pm with a simple swap over needed.

I also asked Monique if she could throw in a car charger ( not full Hands Free cradle/Kit ) and Monique did provide the:
Soul Universal USB Charger, so Thankyou for that as well.

Monday 2nd June, 7:30pm

Awesome, my phone rang and it was to go down and meet 2 males that had my actual purchased product being the Nokia Lumia 1520 and it was WOO HOO Finally I get one.... lol, it came to my notice that the SERIAL/IMEI would be wrong as the ones I have are for the 1320 box that was scanned.

Nathan, one of the males, that swapped out the phones said that was what they, the 2 males, were going to do right now, Nathan gave me his business card and asked me to mail him the SERIAL/IMEI details from the box

I sent every detail that was on the base of the Nokia Lumia 1520 box.

Nathan mailed me back with new and correct SERIAL/IMEI for the Nokia Lumia 1520 Smartphone including:
36 month Product Care Replacement

Great Service - simply above and beyond.
