During my time working in this welcoming restaurant, I have received many kind words and tips from customers. I highly recommend the Butter Chicken because it is extremely tasty although, all the dishes that I have tried are really good. If i come across as rude I’m really sorry, being a 14 year old waitress can be stressful sometimes especially when there is multiple tables in use. however, I do try my best to treat and serve people with respect. I recommend this place very much and I will be continuing here for a long time!!

Picked up a few dishes on my way home from work. All I can say is, Not Again! Extremely disappointing, lacked flavour and the meat was fatty - very chewing. What happened? A few years ago I could not fault any of their dishes, but the new owners have ruined this restaurant. Not happy.

If you're looking for another place close by for India, give Diwali at Seaford Meadow's a try. Their my new favourite :)

Thanks for that Cecilia123, we will give them a try. Our local Indian Restaurant in Mount Barker is closing and we really don't know of a great one close by. Looking forward to trying their cuisine, any suggestions?

I usually get the lamb Spinach, butter chicken or the lamb madras. Keep me posted on how you go :)

After reading so many good reviews on this place I had to give it a try. The food is authentic and tasty, I wouldn't say its the best I've had or the best one down South. However it is one of the better ones. Service is friendly and prompt, location is easy to find.

Approximate cost: $20

Well you were fortunate, my experience was so disappointing. Flavour was lacking and the meat was very fatty/chewing - not a great experience. Use to be great a few years ago. Will not be returning.

Freindly staff, good atmosphere, and great food. Just a few ways of describing this fantastic restaurant 10/10

Had dinner here wednesday night for a birthday celebration. The owners were so nice, explaining all their dishes and informing us that all the flavours were authentic and that they source their spices from overseas and not the local supermarket. I decided to order the vindaloo, it was hot, just the way i like it. The serving was fairly large and I did have difficulty finishing it, but I was determined. To my surprise my girlfriend ordered the chicken spinach and informed me that it was delicious. Our meals were all perfect and nicely presented. Couldn't fault anything. Highly recommend you give them a try.

We went on 7 March for the first time. An amazing meal, cooked to perfection. Very clean, well run establishment. The ladies bringing out the food were very charming and friendly. The man who seems to run front of house was very polite, maybe a little serious but not unfriendly.

Entrée was vegetarian platter for two, followed by Butter Chicken (mild) Beef Curry (medium) and a large serve of steamed basmati rice. We also had a serve of plain naan bread, and a serve of cheese naan bread (4 pieces in each servicing, and 2 serves of pappadums (4 per serve). Added to this 2 glasses of wine, 3 Cokes, and iced water. Next time we will order less naan bread as we couldn't eat everything which was a shame, although we were asked if we wanted to take home the leftovers. All up we paid around $90. We will definitely be going back.

Yummo. They definitely have good authentic style food here. I mean I haven't been to India, but I would think that the food should taste like this if I did go.
And then when I step out of the restaurant, I can be sure that the air doesn't smell as bad :0p
They do a good butter chicken as claimed by my partner and I had the saag gosht, which was something else!

Approximate cost: $avg

Very nice food, chicken masala is beautiful. Was quick and reasonably priced. The onion bhaji was nice too. The naan was a little dry. Despite that, will definately go back.
