I occasionally go to Harold's on my lunch break when I get a chance and have a craving for some fresh fish and chips. you can generally see the fresh fish below the glass counter and it always tastes as good as it looks. The portion sizes of the chips and the fish are also quite good as well. At times Harold's can be quite busy and as everything is cooked fresh you may have to wait for a while but I am happy to do this for some freshly cooked fish. In the past I have also bought fresh prawns from Harold's which my family has also quite enjoyed. A nice place to get some fresh fish and chips if you are over on the Thuringowa side of town.

Agreeing with most reviews, Harold's is indeed a really good place to have Fish and Chips. Original and has great quality, its only downside is its slow service.

Resting on its laurels as the only fish and chip shop on the strand. Service is slow and frustrating at times.

One of the best Fish & Chips shops I've ever come across. The fish is delicious, and the chips are great. The price is also very decent.

For great fish and chips pop into these guys. i can't say they have the best hot chips but their fish is yummy. They sell fresh seafood as well as cooked fish and chips. The service is great. you'll go back to this establishment for sure.
